This is it—the biggest game left of the 2012-13 season for the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs.
Both teams are looking to seal up the best record in the NBA, the Heat with a 57-15 record and the Spurs sitting at 55-17 overall. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET Sunday night from AT&T Center.
The last time the Heat and Spurs faced off, Gregg Popovich made headlines by sending Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Danny Green and Manu Ginobili home before the meeting in South Beach.
Without their star players, the Spurs gave the Heat all they could handle, but ultimately Miami came out on top, 105-100.
This matchup is taking an entirely different form. Not only will it help decide which team will hold home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, it is also a potential 2013 NBA Finals preview.
While the players say that they take every game just one day at a time, there's no doubt that this one means a little bit more for the Heat and Spurs.
Over the past five games LeBron James has averaged 30.6 points, 7.6 assists and 7.2 rebounds.
Not only will he be looking to keep those numbers going, he'll also be trying to prove that no one is going to stand in his way of leading the Heat to back-to-back titles.
You don't want to miss this one. It's got Dwyane Wade vs. Tony Parker, LeBron vs. Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan vs. Chris Bosh. You can't get much better than that.
